If you are on this blog you are an achiever or intend to be!

Bravo!

Here’s the deal -

This 5-5-5 Plan is designed and will be provided with one main goal – to make more of our lives! Wow! Here’s how we can accomplish that -

Almost every successful person I read about and study seems to use their time well – they get up early, they study and do the tasks. They get what they want because they are willing to pay the price – of putting in the time on what is critial to their success – so why not us?

Why not indeed? Well for one thing – there’s a lot of stuff in the way – we stay up late, we get caught up in life issues, we’re tired and overwhelmed. We say things like, “If I only had a little more time or energy or disipline…” Well this plan is designed to benefit everyone involved – yea!

Okay – Bottom line:

5 days a week – you will call the special number and put in your code – (Saturdays and Sundays off)

5 AM you will arise (eariler if you want ;-) – and call in at 5:15 – no exceptions – be on time

5 dollars off your credit card if you let any forces prevent you from making your morning call – if you make the call every day you will never be charged and frankly that’s my goal – to make these calls fun and fast so you can get cracking on what is most important to you – whatever that is -

Why? I have been fascinated with the 5 AM idea for years – I begin it, I do it for awhile, I’m productive and love it when I’m consistent – which I’m not… so this is designed for someone like me and you – good intentioned people who have dreams, ideas and desires and let the warmth of the bed, or the late night meeting give us an excuse to not do the one thing we need to in our day to be more and do more and have more.

What works? Accountabilty – sure there is a $5 deduction on your credit card if you miss a call however that’s not a very big incentive – many of you spend more than that a day for a health membership you don’t use – or on coffee for heavens sake – that may not be a big enough incentive I realize – however it will only help – or won’t hurt – the real accountability is to the group of people and me that are on that call every morning with you.

This group of people all are working on being their best selves – we want to have an extra hour or more in the morning to do those things we’ve been talking about and the other people on the call will hold us accountabile to do what we said we would which is the real reason for this plan – call because you said you would – do what you say you want to – we are here to help you -

Now the delious part – what will you do at 5:30 when you get off the call? Exercise, meditation, pray or read your Bible? How about calls to clients when you know they won’t be there to do a check in? Have you wanted to write articles or a book or your family history? Do you have a project that needs your undivided attention? Hobbies, pets, delving into that on line class you didn’t think you had time to take – the ideas are only limited to your imagination – wow!

So that’s the deal – and I’m whipped up about it – I hope you are to and will join us – there is a three month committment so it does indeed become a habit – however after the three months you can stop the calls or you can sign up again – since people will be joining at different times it looks like I’ll be accountable for a long time – how fab!

Note: Vacation time – if you are taking time off for vacation (pre-planned trip) then you can schedule not to make a call (if you choose) during that time away – however this doesn’t apply to a one time big party or you simply staying up to late – even if you are tired, get up anyway, do what you say you will and then go back to bed if you want – the important thing here is that you have the extra time to use as you wish -

I will be posting on this blog as we go – and I encourage you to as well – what are you working on? How is it working for you? What could be improved? None of us are as good as we’re gonna be!

Blessings, Shawna
